You can go to one of the nearby restaurants, Bazaar, which is within a walking distance of the venue. It is located not far from Lasseters Wharf Casino: D

The bed is really comfortable, and it's only a 5 minute drive to kiwi birdlife park. The room is spacious and there's a great pub nearby where you can try some delicious food.

We travelled with a party of 5 and stayed in a 3 room apartment. The ammenities were perfect for our requirement and Helen, the Manager, was fantastic... We will definately stay there upon future trips, the location is also perfect in relation to Queenstown central.

Great location: if you don't mind 10 walk from the main touristic attractions/town centre, I like walking so for me it was just perfect. Very silent at night. Terrific view from the balcony. Spacious windows. Apartment: initially, I booked studio, but Helen, the manager, was so nice, that replace it for 2-bedroom apartment for no extra pay. It was really stylish one, with the modern household appliance (including even electrical fireplace, which can add romance and cosiness in winter time). Add here complimentary tea/coffee/milk and organic (!) soap for your bath. Even all washing liquids were organic and environmental friendly. To sum up, I was delighted to stay at Alta. Staying as a guest, I felt like at home. Surely worth the price!

The apartment was spacious and the view was reasonable as was the location to town.
The drain pipe on the balcony is misaligned so during the days of rain made an horrific noise. The couches are uncompfortable and at this price would have expected full sized bath and a coffee machine.

A very modern designed, clean unit with a terrific view. It was great having dishes , microwave, coffee and hair dryer, etc. The laundry machines were very convenient and the manager was very nice about storing our luggage while we were on a trek.
Space was limited. Difficult maneuvering our van into the garage. Third bedroom also very small. No room to walk or put luggage in it. Can't even open the door fully. Walk to town is a bit of a chore due to it's location on a hill and distance from town. Can be noisy if your neighbors are partying. The tv was difficult to work, the phone didn't work and the sink faucet was faulty.

Excellent apartment and facilities (self-catering). It was spotless and heating was on when I arrived. Arrangements for key collection were good and a very good booklet detailing how to manage the apartment. Good off road parking.Location was a short 5-10 min walk from the centre of Queenstown.I would recommend the apartments to a family or friends (4 adults).

Large room, clean and comfortable.
Note this only applies to the studio - i did not stay in the 2/3 bed apartments. Room was advertised as a studio apartment but really is a large hotel room and did not have the additional facilities of laundry or kitchen. This is not an ideal option for young families however for our 2 night stay this was not a problem.

Beautiful room. Underfloor heating in the lovely bathroom. Nice size bed and lots of storage. On site parking.
I think that if you were choosing this place to stay in one of the apartments this place is fantastic as you have a kitchen, washing machine etc. However, it was not made clear on either this website or their own that the studio apartments do not have any of this. This meant that we were staying in a rather expensive hotel rom which was a good 20 minute walk up a really steep hill (very slippy in winter!). As well as this the hotel room was not cleaned the entire week that we were there, again fine if you have the facilities to wash towels/sheets etc but not so in the studio room.

They are quite modern apartments with a good view of the lake and mountains. We were able to check in early (11.30) as it was a quiet weekend.
The front office is only manned at certain times, so we were unable to leave our luggage on site so we had to hire a locker in town until our flight left early that evening.

Not much. The unit 10b is not inviting at all.
No service, no view, no windows, no sunlight, the toilet has a noise during the night. The parking is not friendly. I wanted to check out upon seeing it. There is toll bar on the phone, no instruction on Internet, breakfast and manager not in the premise. It may not comply to NZ regulations, e.g. fire evacuation procedure.
